Scott E. Metzger is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist and Pain Management physician and the founder of Metzger Staats Pain Management   Dr. Metzger started the NJ chapter of the American Society of Interventional Pain Practitioners.

Dr. Metzger attended the prestigious 6 year medical program at Boston University.    His post graduate work includes an internship at Overlook Hospital in New Jersey and a residency and fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore.  He is certified by the
National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of
Pain Medicine and the American Board of Anesthesiology.

In 2000, Dr. Metzger established his Pain Management Practice in
Shrewsbury, NJ.  He has successfully treated thousands of patients, establishing himself as an expert in the pain management area.

Born and raised in central NJ, the most rewarding part of Dr. Metzger's practice is the opportunity to give back to his community.   While Dr. Metzger’s education and certification attest to his knowledge, his patients’ results are the justification for his recognition in this area.
